Ancilla Beef & Grain Farm
Ancilla Beef and Grain Farm models rural family farming by raising grain and quality beef in a responsible and conscientious manner. Ancilla Beef and Grain Farm endeavors to help sustain The Center at Donaldson and provide quality beef in support of our mission to serve the underserved. Through partnerships in the local community and our own ministries, we distribute safe and healthy food to those in need.
Lindenwood
Lindenwood Retreat and Conference Center, provides an atmosphere of peaceful and sacred space in a natural setting. We offer individuals and groups an environment for healing, spiritual enrichment, and educational opportunities.
MoonTree Studios
Through mindful participation in MoonTree Studios experiences, participants are encouraged to fearlessly explore the interconnectedness of art, nature, and the Spirit within. MoonTree strives to awaken creative potential and sow the seeds for a more mindful, compassionate, and sustainable Earth Community.
PHJC Volunteer Program
The PHJC Volunteer Program is designed to support a community immersed in service and based on Gospel values with an orientation toward social justice.
Volunteers serve a wide variety of ministries and persons including homeless women and children, those living in dilapidated motels near our Motherhouse, immigrants and refugees crossing our southern border, our elderly Sisters, lay residents, and Earth. Volunteers have also served with our congregation in Mexico and Kenya.
Maria Center
Maria Center Independent Living offers a variety of intergenerational experiences and activities, which promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Additionally, residents delight in building community with the Poor Handmaid Sisters, co-workers and students on The Center at Donaldson campus.
Illuminata House
Illuminata House of Prayer is a wheelchair accessible sacred space for women and men seeking silence and solitude to further explore and deepen the interconnection of art, nature, and creativity within. Led by Sister Nancy Raboin, PHJC, Illuminata House is located in an area surrounded by forest, prairie, and walking paths along Lake Galbraith.
HVM
HealthVisions Midwest (HVM) works in communities to reduce health disparities among the poor and underserved by advocating for the powerless, nurturing and fostering leadership, developing, and facilitating partnerships, and addressing systemic community health needs. Located in Hammond and Ft. Wayne, Indiana and East St. Louis, Illinois, HVM offers health programs through education, healthy eating, community gardens, and by offering transportation services to and from medical appointments for clients in East St. Louis and Hammond.
SJCHF
St. Joseph Community Health Foundation (SJCHF) partners with over 70 agencies in Allen County, IN, to improve the health and wellness of low-income, vulnerable populations by providing grants and programming to enable everyone in the community to achieve wellness without regard of their ability to pay.
Sojourner Truth House
Sojourner Truth House (STH) serve residents of Gary, IN and surrounding communities through integrative services. Our day center is a safe haven for homeless and at-risk women who have children. Through hospitality, advocacy and collaboration Case Managers work to help improve the quality of life for participants.
