Grateful for the Past – Confident for the Future

Farewell to the former General Leadership and Installation of the new team

On August 1 and 2, our Congregation experienced a special day: we bid farewell to the outgoing General Leadership and welcomed the new team into office.
It was a celebration of gratitude, unity, and a hopeful new beginning.

Looking Back with Gratitude

With heartfelt thanks, we look back on the past years under the leadership of Sr. Judith Diltz and her team, Sr. Betty Vazheparampil, Sr. Jacqueline Injete and Sr. Sabitha Kalathil.
With wisdom, dedication, and a heart attentive to the needs of the Congregation, they have guided, accompanied, and strengthened us – in times of change as well as in times of stability.
We thank them for their service, their witness of faith, and for all the visible and hidden ways in which they have supported our community.

Welcoming the New General Leadership

In a solemn liturgy, the new General Leadership, under the direction of Sister Michele Dvorak, Sr. Sabitha Kalathil, Sr. Nkechi Iwuoha and Sr. Rita Thykootam was officially installed.
In her first words as Superior General, she emphasized the importance of listening together to God, supporting one another, and remaining open to the work of the Holy Spirit in our time.

With joy and trust, we welcome her and her team and accompany them with our prayers.

A Celebration of Transition

The day was marked by a festive liturgy, personal encounters, and a tangible sense of community.
Sisters from various parts of the world, colleagues, and guests joined together to give thanks and celebrate this new beginning.
Music, prayer, and personal words made this day a sign of unity and hope.

May God richly bless our outgoing General Leadership for their faithful service –
and guide and strengthen the new General Leadership on all their paths.
